My little kitchen. It's a good thing I didn't bring everything otherwise I'd have had no where to put it. Maybe on the balcony. Oops I forgot to take a picture of that.
Our table and 10 dollars chairs. The table and couch and bed and TV stand were all generously donated by the Scovil's (Greg's cousins)
The man does not stay with the apartment and boy am I glad. :)
Entry way. We had to buy the lamp because there wasn't a light in the living room.
Bedroom. with HUGE closets. You can see from this apartment alone that people have much more of an emphasis on clothes than cooking. :)
Printer on the ground because there isn't a desk and bathroom door. I didn't take a picture of it, but I am using a box as my night stand. Closets are on the right and door to the bedroom is on the left.
Bathroom is a pretty good size as well. Lots of cupboards and nice wood floors (there are wood floors in the kitchen as well).
Washer and dryer. Very small, but very convenient. I can fold my laundry and put it away instead of carrying it out to the car. Not sure how much extra it costs us. I DO miss the company while I fold my laundry sometimes though.
Bet you can't guess what Ryan thought "MWB" stood for. :P
I found a roach in the house that I nanny at. I smashed it with my sandal before I got this close to it obviously. It was quite large. Thus, the finger for a reference.
This roach was just laying on the ground of our apartment in our entry way this morning. It was twitching some so I decided to put it and me out of our misery and this one exploded! :P I won't be using that method again.
Since the last post Ryan and I tried some frisbee golfing. The first time it was too swampy because it had just rained and when it rains here it pours. The second time we tried we played 6 holes and for some reason there was a hole right next to a fenced off forbidden forest and Ryan launched his frisbee right into it. He went venturing after it and decided it was lost forever after lots of scratches and bruises and we had blown 20 bucks on a frisbee that we didn't get much out of. I hope he warms up to the idea soon again because it was fun while it lasted. He was a pretty good sport about losing it though.
We also had grandiose plans about going to Galveston or the Alamo on Memorial Day weekend, but Ryan decided to get sick instead so we stayed home the whole weekend and watched old movies. Hopefully we will have more exciting things to report after this weekend.
